Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancelling works, when you get your money back, and how refunds reach you.
QSI Pro is launching soon. It can’t be bought yet, so no one has paid for it. This policy explains how cancelling and refunds will work for QSI Pro from launch day. Using QSI free costs nothing, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
QSI is an SI (synthetic intelligence) assistant at quantumsi.in. It is an online, digital-only service: nothing is shipped. “QSI”, “we” and “us” mean Quantum Synthetic Intelligence Private Limited, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. This policy applies together with our Terms and our Pricing page, which shows the plans, prices and daily limits.
1. At a glance
| If… | What happens |
|---|---|
| You use QSI free, as a guest or free member | You pay nothing, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. |
| You cancel QSI Pro | No cancellation fee. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. |
| You ask within 7 days of your first Pro payment | We refund that payment in full. |
| A renewal, or any Pro payment after your first | Not refunded for part of a period. You can cancel so the next renewal doesn’t happen. |
| A failed, duplicate or wrong charge | Always refunded in full. |
Refunds go back to the original payment method. We issue a refund within 7 working days of a valid request, and it then usually reaches you within 5–7 working days.
2. Free use: nothing to cancel or refund
Guests and free members use QSI at no cost, within the daily limits on our Pricing page. You don’t pay anything and you don’t give us any payment details, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
You can stop using QSI whenever you like. If you have an account, you can delete it in QSI under Settings → Account.
3. Cancelling QSI Pro
QSI Pro will cost ₹799 a month or ₹7,999 a year, including 18% GST. You will be able to pay in two ways:
- Auto-renew with UPI AutoPay, monthly or yearly. You approve the mandate once in your UPI app, and your plan renews until you cancel.
- Pay once by card, UPI or net banking, for 1 month or 1 year, with no auto-renewal.
Cancelling auto-renew
Cancel whenever you like. There is no cancellation fee. You can cancel in any of these ways:
- In your QSI account: log in and open Settings → Account. Once Pro launches, your plan and a cancel option will be shown there.
- In your UPI app: open its AutoPay or mandates section, find the QSI mandate and cancel it. No further renewals can then be charged.
- By email: write to hello@quantumsi.in from the email address you use to log in to QSI, with the subject “Cancel Pro”. We cancel auto-renew and confirm by email. A person reads these emails, so cancelling in QSI or in your UPI app is quicker. If a renewal is charged after we received your email, we refund it in full.
You get a notice at least 24 hours before each renewal charge, so you always have time to cancel before you are charged.
If you chose Pay once
Pay once doesn’t renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Pro simply ends when the month or year you paid for is over. We remind you before it ends.
After you cancel
- Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, with all Pro limits.
- You are not charged again.
- When the period ends, your account simply returns to the free member limits. Your account and login stay as they are.
- You can get Pro again whenever you like.
Deleting your QSI account also stops auto-renew, but it ends Pro straight away, and the rest of the paid period is not refunded. This doesn’t affect the 7-day refund on your first Pro payment (see section 4) or refunds of failed, duplicate or wrong charges (see section 6). To use the time you have paid for, cancel auto-renew first and delete your account later.
4. 7-day refund on your first payment
If Pro isn’t right for you, ask within 7 days of your first Pro payment and we refund it in full. You don’t have to give a reason.
- It covers your first Pro payment: monthly or yearly, with auto-renew or Pay once.
- It applies once per person. Renewals and later payments are not covered (see section 5), and opening a new account doesn’t give a second 7-day refund.
- The 7 days are counted in Indian Standard Time from the day you paid. For example, if you first paid on 1 March, ask by 11:59 PM IST on 8 March.
How to ask
- Email hello@quantumsi.in from the email address you use to log in to QSI, with the subject “Refund request”.
- Include the payment reference (the payment or order ID from your payment confirmation, or the UPI transaction reference shown in your UPI app), with the date and amount of the payment.
Never send us your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or any password. We never need them to refund you, and QSI never sees or stores your card number, UPI PIN or bank details.
What happens next
- We reply by email. If we need anything else to find the payment, we ask.
- If you asked within the 7 days, we issue a refund of the full amount you paid, including GST, to your original payment method within 7 working days of your request (or of receiving any details we asked for), and confirm by email when the refund has been issued.
- When the refund is issued, auto-renew is cancelled and Pro ends. Your account returns to the free member limits.
- The refund then usually reaches you within 5–7 working days (see section 7).
5. Renewals and part periods
The 7-day refund covers only your first Pro payment. After that, renewals are not refunded for part of a period, but you can cancel at any time so the next renewal doesn’t happen. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- This applies to every monthly or yearly renewal, and to any Pay once payment after your first Pro payment.
- Unused days, unused daily limits and unused live-voice minutes are not refunded or carried over.
- You get a notice at least 24 hours before each auto-renew charge.
- The price that applies is the one shown at checkout, including 18% GST.
Failed, duplicate and wrong charges are always refunded (see section 6). Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Indian consumer protection law.
6. Failed, duplicate or wrong charges
These are always refunded in full. The 7-day limit doesn’t apply to them.
- Failed payments: money left your account, but the payment failed, or Pro was never switched on. Pro is switched on online as soon as your payment is confirmed (see our Shipping & Delivery Policy). If it isn’t, tell us and we switch it on, or refund you in full.
- Duplicate charges: you were charged twice for the same plan and period.
- Wrong charges: for example, an amount different from the price shown at checkout, or a renewal charged after you cancelled or deleted your account.
- Accounts of people under 18: if we delete an account because it belongs to someone under 18, we refund its Pro payments in full.
Tell us as soon as you notice, by email to hello@quantumsi.in, with the payment reference, date and amount.
Banks often reverse a failed payment automatically. If the money reached us, we refund it in full. If it is held by your bank, we tell you what you need to follow it up there.
If you see a QSI charge you don’t recognise, tell your bank or UPI app straight away, and email us.
7. How and when refunds reach you
- To the original payment method only: a card payment is refunded to the same card, and a UPI or net banking payment to the bank account it came from. We can’t send a refund to a different account, as cash or as credit.
- The full amount: a full refund returns everything you paid, including GST.
- Timing: we issue a refund within 7 working days of a valid request. Once issued, it usually takes 5–7 working days to reach your bank account or card. This is the normal refund time of our payment aggregator. The exact day depends on your bank.
- We confirm by email when a refund has been issued, with its details, so you can check with your bank.
If the refund hasn’t arrived after 7 working days, check with your bank first, then contact us and we will help.
QSI Pro payments will be processed by Razorpay Payments Private Limited, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. QSI never sees or stores your card number, UPI PIN or bank details, and doesn’t need them to refund you.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us first. It is usually the quickest way to sort out a problem, and failed, duplicate or wrong charges are always refunded.
You can also raise a dispute or chargeback with your bank, card issuer or UPI app. If it is decided in your favour, the money comes back to you through your bank, and we don’t refund the same payment a second time.
9. Returns, exchanges and plan changes
- Returns: QSI is an online, digital-only service. Nothing is shipped, so there is nothing to return. Access is delivered online straight after payment (see our Shipping & Delivery Policy). Cancelling and refunds work as described above.
- Exchanges: a Pro plan can’t be exchanged for cash or credit, or moved to another account.
- Changing plans: to switch between monthly and yearly, cancel auto-renew (if you use it) and choose the new plan when your current period ends. Until then, your current plan stays active.
